This piece has been sold to Four Seasons Maui and is currently in the Presidential Suite.

Harmony and contentment are evoked in this important and beautiful carving. The ancient  Hawaiian concept of interconnectedness between sea and sky, humankind and nature, is  expressed here. The sun's rays illuminate and permeate the goddess' hair, which flows into and  becomes part of the ocean below. A bird's feathers morph into fish scales and merge with plant  life. Life is seen as a whole, not merely the sum of parts. This piece is one of two in a series  called “Clouds of Venus.”
